We're reaching crunch time of the NFL season as the playoff picture begins to unfold.
Week 12 at a glance: Several powerhouses, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions, are currently on the outside looking in. All three are favoured to pick up wins this week, though, with Kansas City hosting the red-hot Indianapolis Colts.

- Baltimore's defence allowed 35.4 PPG in the first five games of the season (1-4 SU). It has allowed 14.8 PPG in the five games since (4-1 SU).
- Shedeur Sanders will be the 18th QB to make his first career start in the regular season for the Cleveland Browns since 1999. The prior 17 quarterbacks are winless in their debut, per Action Network.

- The Carolina Panthers are 6-3 ATS as underdogs this year and face a San Francisco 49ers team that is 1-11 ATS following a win since the start of last season.
- Opposite to San Fran is Detroit. The Lions have won and covered in 13 straight games following a loss. That includes three instances this season where they won by an average of 22.0 points.
- Matthew Stafford remains the MVP favourite heading into Week 12. He's thrown a league-best 27 passing TDs to just two interceptions. The Rams are averaging 27.8 PPG during their five-game winning streak.
